Dr. Koch has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1984 and joined Tysons Corner Animal Hospital in 2000. Prior to joining us, Dr. Koch completed an internship at Georgetown Animal Hospital in Charlottesville, VA and then worked for 15 years at Cherrydale Animal Hospital in Arlington, VA. Dr. Koch holds a B. S. Degree in Biology from the University of Richmond and went on to complete her Degree of Veterinary Medicine at the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Koch is a member of both the AVMA and the DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include endocrinology, feline focused medicine and herding breeds. Dr. Koch particularly values the long term relationship she has enjoyed with many of her clients, colleagues and team members as well. The quality of medicine she practices as well as the investment she places on her patients represents the core values TCAH advocates and continually strives for. Her personal interests include spending time with her son James, cooking, hiking, photography as well as traveling to national parks.
